and
kept me out of trouble, sort of. After I graduated from high school, I left
home for the big college experience at Colorado State University in Fort
Collins, Colorado to major in Food Science and Nutrition and eventually
transferred to Idaho State University to finish my degree in Consumer Economics
Education with an emphasis in Foods and Nutrition. I have been involved
with Miniature Schnauzers for 27 years after purchasing my first boy, "Auggie",
on a skiing trip to Colorado. He was a great dog and I was so sold on the
breed that I contacted Dale Miller, the owner of his sire, Ch. Barclay Bandersnatch.
I have to thank Dale for where I am at today because she sent me a beautiful
little girl, Barclay Square Bundt Cake, "Angie" and the rest is
history, so to speak.
During
the years I have been breeding and showing minis, I have taken time out
here and there for two great children, Seth and Sarah (my two greatest accomplishments)
who were involved in competitive soccer and the equestrian world of competition.
Now that the are grown and have moved to Portland, I have become more dedicated
to my life as a Breeder/Owner/Handler or NickNack Miniature Schnauzers and
what a great life it is. |
